Mazuri skin and hair products review
Black African soap.
This has to be my favorite of the products. First, it’s perfect for cleansing both the hair and skin & second it does a good job with clearing acnes and spots as long as you’re consistent, haven’t been good with consistency. You can use it to cleanse your hair without stripping off the natural oils. The downside with using the soap on your face is that it has a drying effect so be sure to moisturize immediately after cleansing.
Benefits of black soap
- Cleanses & exfoliates the skin
- Fights hyperpigmentation
- Soothes the skin
- Fights acne
- Helps clear rashes
Activated charcoal soap
This is more gentle/ mild than the black African soap but not as effective, still works with time though. You know good things take time. Be sure to moisturize after cleansing too.
Benefits of activated charcoal soap
- Treats acne & oily skin
- Provides a flawless skin
- Treats clogged pores & reduces pore size
- Treats dandruff
Aloe Vera gel
This is my favorite moisturizer, so gentle on the skin. I love the cooling effect it gives and how my skin feels after moisturizing. I thought I would use the gel on my hair, styling, wash and gos and laying edges but the face won.
Benefits of Aloe Vera gel
- Treats wounds, minor cuts, dry skin & severe burns.
- Calms the skin conditions
- Leaves your hair smooth & shiny
- Promotes hair growth
- Gives bouncy curls
Vitamin E oil.
I would love to give a genuine skin moisturizing review on this one but it always find its way to my hair. Have been mixing vitamin E, olive, shungi & castor oils for hot oil treatment. I used the vitamin E oil for about two weeks.
Mango facial cream
The scent is amazing and so delicious. The best part is a little of it goes a long and doesn’t leave your skin looking oily. It’s ideal for oily/acne prone skin. Ingredients; mango butter, rosehip oil, grapeseed oil & tea tree oil.
Have used bentonite clay like twice, yet to use tumeric liwa glow mask. I’ll do an update on this two. I am thinking of using bentonite clay for hair masking/detoxification, once I do I’ll let you know how that goes.
