My Hair changes; Interesting ways My Hair has changed.

Do Natural hair change as you transition?

Hello mane embracers, thank you for stopping by and welcome to yet another amazing, educative and fun post.

On today’s post I want us to talk about hair changes, I would really love to get your thoughts, opinions and stories.

One thing I know for sure, I don’t like change it just disrupts every plan, balance and routine and my hair change seems to do just that but on the flip side it’s exciting me in a way.

Remember that time you added one cup size or grew that butt you always wanted and got your dream figure but your bras and clothes no longer fit? That’s my current feeling; uncertain, frustrated but excited about this new adventure.

I always admired queens with loser curls until I got my curls a little loser and man, that ain’t my cup of coffee. I miss my shrunken Afros that got me into the 80’s mood.

You know, wake up spritz the Afro, comb the roots and step out or fix a puff and you good to go. My puffs don’t look the same anymore but I do love them so much, thank you curls. Who says no to more volume and popping curls?

Natural hair afro and volume

Natural hair change

The longer the hair, the loser the curls and the juicer the twist and braid outs or at least for me that’s the case. My twists outs early last year were nah but I loved them regardless.

As long as I have the volume, the definition and length doesn’t matter but now that I have all of them, I feel pressure to have definition, volume and length, I must achieve juicy, bouncy and defined twist outs.

Curls aside, I miss having shorter hair so bad. No one told me how hectic it’s dealing with volume and length, itching hands and fingers are my thing lately and guess what?

I’ll be trimming my hair once a year. I read about dusting the split ends once they happen and so far so good, tempted to never like trim just keep dusting.

Let’s get back to short hair chronicles, I miss it because I don’t have to keep buying hair products or experience itching hands but hair goals means hard work and sacrifice.

Am in love!!

And guys my edges are growing am super excited and my hair is getting its shine back thanks to the changes in my hair routine. About changes in the routine, i’ll be posting about them too. Keep it here for that.

The side view

Do you have instances where you miss your hair at a certain stage or have you noticed any changes on your hair that got you like nah or yasss? I would love to hear all or is it read all about it.

I did a thing guys. Your girl is on a mission to try new styles and up her styling game. Hello Mane Embracers, I hope your hair is growing and skin glowing. Welcome to my blog and be sure to keep it for healthy hair care tips and tricks. Flat twist-out Afro I did another thing, installed flat twists as my low manipulation style for a week or so and the flat twist-out turned to an Afro. I love wearing my Afro or may be I love it because my styling game is 👎👎👎. Either way we all agree that afros are cute. Bun & bangs. First, I uploaded a tutorial on Facebook and Instagram, be sure to check out. It’s an easy to achieve style. Got no time to figure out how style your hair? Well, this style is for you. Bun & flat twist Same bun but flat twisted the bangs & the look gave me some ‘ hey there, praise and worship & good gal vibe.’ It’s an official look, easy to achieve style & a less than 5 minutes style. Low puff & twists. I live for high puffs but side puffs are okay too. I loved the look & the twists were, “hide my forehead thing.” Hello fellow gals with a big forehead & heart. Twists & tucked twists. Turned the low puff to chunky twists and pinned them. For a moment I thought I had locs but they don’t look like locs though. The IT style. How gorgeous is this style? I would love to know which of the styles is your favorite.
